Closet Closed for December

The volunteers who run Anney’s Closet have been burning the candle at both ends! We’ve had an incredible response from our partner agencies and every week clients have been visiting Anney’s Closet to “shop” for beautiful and functional household furnishings.

Unpacking, sorting and stocking the shelves with donated items takes a lot of time and energy. So does coordinating the visits with social workers, clients and volunteers. Our hardworking volunteers need a break!

So for the month of December we are closing the Closet for donation drop-offs and client visits so these wonderful folks can spend time with their families,  recharge their batteries and focus on their other volunteer projects like the Goldstream Food Bank.

See you in January! If you have questions please Get in Touch!

Closet Closed For August

The hardworking people who run Anney’s Closet deserve a summer holiday!

Anney’s Closet will be temporarily closed for the month of August.

They’ll be back to work in September and accepting donations on Saturday, September 12.

Please Contact Us if you have any questions, or if you want to donate some like-new household goods, or if you work with girls or women who need help furnishing their new home.

We are always looking for help sorting donations and helping our clients pick out items for their new homes. If you would like to volunteer please Get in Touch!

Have a great summer,

Anney

Closet Slows Down over Christmas

Anney’s Closet has little elves that work tirelessly all year to sort donations, organize the storage lockers and pick up and deliver donations, and help our visitors to shop. They need a break over Christmas so they can spend time with family and get some well-deserved rest!
So Anney’s Closet will not be open for donation drop-offs or client visits until after Christmas.
Merry Christmas!!!

Anney’s Closet has a sister on the Mainland!

Our Club has inspired Soroptimist International of the TriCities to create their own Anney’s Closet, lovingly named Bea’s Kloset after one of their longest standing members.

Our Beautiful Bea

Bea, the founder!

Bea’s Kloset is having a Grand Opening Saturday, October 25 from 11am-1:00pm at  77 Fawcett Ave, Coquitlam, BC.

Bea’s Kloset relies 100% on donations from the community; other organizations and people like you.  If you have items in excellent condition that you no longer need, help them fill the shelves by sending an email tobeaskloset@gmail.com to arrange an appointment with one of their donation volunteers.

Please visit the Soroptimist International of the Tricities website to find out more about Bea’s Kloset.

Congratulations to the members of Soroptimist International of the Tricities! We hope Bea’s Kloset brings joy to your club and to your community.

Closet Closed Thanksgiving Weekend

Our hardworking volunteers are taking the weekend off to celebrate Thanksgiving. We’d like to take this opportunity to say a huge THANK YOU to the ladies who give their time and energy to keeping the donations rolling in to Anney ‘s Closet! And thanks to their husbands who help them as well.
Enjoy your holiday and see you next weekend!
